Default Cross-fire 5770

Hey Guys,

I am looking to buy a new 5770 for my build as I already have one, but it just doesnt cut it anymore. I bought the first one off PCCG and was about to buy another the other day when i realised they took my model, the MSI ATI Radeon HD5770 1GB OC (this is the card: http://tiny.cc/sma1x) off the site.
Is it possible for me to use a HIS 5770? or another brand? or wouldnt that work?
Sorry, I'm compleatly new to cross-fire

Thanks in advance

There are no problems in using other brands. It doesn't matter on the brand.

Even if they have different clock speeds? (because the MSI is over clocked)

As long as it's using the same chip it will work not sure how performance will be affected

Even higher clocks aren't an issue. However your setup will only be as fast as the slowest card. The drivers take care of the difference with a type of load balancing.
