I'm not one for tattoos, but damn I do like that one..
Any other shots with it in it's entirety ?

On topic, only thing that is 'out of place' for me, is the door way (?) light source behind her on the second shot...

otherwise, I'd be very happy if I could get photo's like that...

Yeah, not much I could do about that. It was a lathe stuck in a shipping container jammed among other containers, so I was very limited with angles.

I am sure I have more with the tat, will post if I find them.

nice one mate, not really a fan of the first, but the second one pops out as classic pin up style. this sounds a bit strange but the model kind of has that 1950's pinup look to her face too?

I've never tried it, but is it possible to use PS 'layers' and change the exposure of that section then combine them ?
I wonder if it's even possible to use 'flood fill', it has sharp edges so maybe a gentle opaque color close to the walls might work ?

+1 it pulls the focus to the right, the dark press to the mid body to the lighter sun. but understandable in cramped conditions, maybe lean a sheet of wood up outside to dim the sunlight next time?

as do the shoes/legs in 1 imo,(pull to the right) but it has a very 70s australian feel to it, almost "workshop calendar" theme to both of them, but classy, nice

+1 on 50s style, looks almost like a colour print of an old bw shot
looks "coloured" prob due to the brightness of the apparently new tatt

I have enhanced the tat a little in PP as I like the look of it, as I did in this one:

wow.
I have to do this, Would i be allowed to ask for the orig raw of #2 & #3 ???
Both are absolutely superb, The composition, the lighting, the model, fantastic smile and pose.
I have NO interest in republishing etc, there both just the sort of photos i could look at for hours at a time.

Whatever you decide.

Thanks

The photos do not convince me that she is qualified to operate that machinery. On that basis, I'm out.

Then look at them on flickr for hours at a time? Bit rude asking for a raw, why would you need a raw....

I think he just means full-sized. If so, I see you've got 2000x2000px versions on flickr...

Well, she certainly paid attention to the "No loose clothing around rotating machinery" sign.

As for the processing, #1 turned out the way I was intending. Some skin smoothening, and some 'Orton' on the background.

As for #2 the conditions were so cramped I could only shoot through a window with the bare flash pointed at the inside wall (front left) which gave everything that wonderful pastel colour. It is in square format because that was the shape of the window.
