I've had a Linux (Ubuntu Karmic) computer set up to record 4 cameras for about a year now using Zoneminder, which is excellent.
Since this machine is running 24/7, I thought I could also utilise it for recording the refridgerator temperature (Environmental Health gudelines) as well - I own a guest house by the way.. The IP is 192.168.1.2, hostname "cameras", and I can pull up the images from any computer in the network. So far so good. I have installed digitemp and rrdtools, basically done everything according to Martin Pot's extremely good instructions at: http://martybugs.net/electronics/tempsensor/graph.cgi Everything installs and works perfectly, and I've made sure all the directories are where they should be, but because of zoneminder (I think!) calling up http://192.168.1.2/rrdtool/ as per the instructions at "Viewing the graphs" I get error 404 - not found Calling up http://192.168.1.2/ on its own brings up the Zoneminder console, so I believe that Zoneminder takes over and I am unable to get any further. Of course, Zoneminder is more important than the damn graphs, but I thought somebody here might know of a workaround for this annoying little niggle. Any takers? |

Please post in one of the technical forums - Other Operating Systems sounds like the most appropriate.
