Overall BLOPS was a much better game - that little bit less arcadey, and gametypes like sticks and stones, and one in the chamber, make it more of a challenge.

As much as I did enjoy MW3 though, I think it'll be my last COD for a while. Might pick up BF3 soon.

I can't say for other people, but it's about the only way I'd play it

Its not all that bad. But BF3 is light years ahead of it in every way. And its been done before in MW1 and MW2.

Sickofit.

only reason i came in here is because of the vast disparity in posts in the two threads. And what do I find? Free weekend offer.

Of course half of the BF3 posts are complaints, but over 19,000 posts is nothing to sneeze at when the big rival has just gone over 1000.

I might actually give it a go, the price is right

Is it like BO or does it have shitty matchmaking like MW2?

Matchmaking for ranked, dedicated servers for unranked. Stupid idea, I know. FOV is locked too.

Don't touch it Philll, really, don't bother.

It's mw2, buggier, laggier and a more fucked up retarded prepube community running around with OP guns crying and moaning.

PC = patch with no nerfs activated nor working. None of the map exploits are patched etc etc.

Its got the matchmaking, and its not as good(lol) as it was in MW2. The MP itself is pretty similar to MW2 except the maps seem to have been created so that there are alot of pathways to reach any certain spot on the map.

If you play domination youll find the middle point on most maps is very hard to recapture if lost, and you are forever getting shot in the back or shooting someone else in the back while running around. I guess they made an effort to make camping less effective.

I didn't mind MW3. I knew that it was going to be exactly the same as the rest, and I was just fine with that. The campaign was a good little romp for a few hours, and the MP was fun for the first run through the ranks.

Of course, if you come into it expecting any change from the formula whatsoever, you'll be disappointed. I just treat the CoD series like a silly action movie, play it for a while until I grow bored of it, and then wait until the next year's iteration.
