XBIT LABS REVIEW

Quote:
"Highs:

Excellent exterior design
Good color rendering setup
Low response time
Light and cute 3D glasses with wireless interface
Supports 3D imaging with any graphics cards
Supports 3D imaging for movies and photographs without using special drivers and software (can automatically decode Top-Bottom and Side-by-Side formats)
Good 3D image quality

Lows:

Glossy screen producing lots of flares
Insufficient integration of the TriDef software with the monitor (you have to manually switch the monitor into 3D mode after launching a game)
Supports 120Hz 3D mode with frame alteration for AMD Radeon HD 5xxx and 6xxx series cards only
Dark screen in 3D mode"

The Xbit review has an error in the "lows" section.

"Insufficient integration of the TriDef software with the monitor (you have to manually switch the monitor into 3D mode after launching a game)"

You dont have to manually switch into 3D mode when loading games when you use the tri-def game launcher. They must have been doing it wrong....

Yea that seemed really odd to be honest, I mean it's not something they would miss during testing. The review itself is a little rough to be honest but I haven't found a better professional review yet

Any reason to go from a 23" -> 23"? Why not the 27"?

Guys with this monitor should use the new 11.8 preview driver:

◦series of products
◦Up to 8% in Fear 3 DirectX 11 version with application enabled Anti-Aliasing on the AMD Radeon HD 6000 and AMD Radeon HD 5000 series of products
◦Up to 30% when AMD’s Morphological Anti-Aliasing (MLAA) is enabled through the Catalyst Control Center on AMD Radeon HD 6000 and AMD Radeon HD 5000 series of products

Couple of questions for any triple screen users out there..

How are you guys setting yours up? I have a triple screen stand, do these have a vesa compatible screw holes? If they don't have vesa compatible screw holes, are you just roughly setting up the screen in a row of 3?

Edit: This is for the 23" inch versions..
