max benchable clock (MHz) - volts at max clocks - multi x bclk - username - cpu model - batch/step - motherboard brand/model etc - 24/7 clocks/volts - cpu cooling used

Mines, 51x100 in bios but for some strange reason shows 51x99.8 in cpuz -core2dubious - L042A969/D2 retail. 1.475 bios, LLC 1, volts max clocks 1.272-dunno if that's accurate though with cpu-z, Gigabyte P67A-UD5 Watercooled CPU- most of this stuff is in my sig btw.

Here's a 20 linx run.

Hey Aussie. I take it you don't know the batch number for your CPU?

4746 - 1.450v BIOS - 47x101.0 - Skramit - i5 2500K - L048A952 / D2 - ASRock P67 Extreme6 - 4544@1.35v (BIOS) - Air (Megahalems)

-------------

Highest so far 47. 1.45v P95 stable.

48x boots to windows but BSODs on P95 runs. Any more voltage and temps pushing past 80ish. Will try on a cooler day anyway, its hot today!

24/7 at 4544 runs at high 60s temp under 100% load which is decent for me. Will keep trying to tune it for lower voltages.

Which board are you using?

I think time will show that a stable 4.5ghz is not the norm... and that 4.0ghz -4.4ghz may be possibly a reasonable target..

PS. It probably doesn't help that I'm using 16gb of ram...

GB-P67A-UD4

Im back to 4.2 too.. its rock solid at 1.26V..... will try again later ...

When I bought y 2600K (in store on Friday).. they claimed to have orginally 70.. and had sold 10 on theday before.

However.. word of caution.. the CPU I bought is doing very poorly in the overclocking states ?bad batch.. might be worth buuying elsewhere..
