I need ~1.34v to run 4.5GHz, (i5 2500K, L048A952).
Prime95 30mins = 43/75C idel/load with Noctua NH-U12P SE2, 27C ambient temp.

Got 25298 on 3DMark06 1.2 @ 4.5GHz on Gigabyte P67A-UD3P with 1G Powercolor 5850 PCS+(@ stock).

Have my i5 2500 @ 4 Ghz Multi x 41 @ 100Mhz, auto voltage, and its stable as and am happy leaving it there. For those that like to play it safe, probably the safest way to go with OC your i5 2500 IMO

That is 4.1GHz(100x41=4100) Not 4.0GHz

When I set it to 1.305 or 1.31 it drops to 1.28 in HW monitor. When I tried on 1.305 it ended up crashing after 20 minutes. (may have dropped to 1.27).

When I set it to 1.265 in BIOS (42x100) it only drops to 1.25 in HW Monitor under load.

(HW monitor correctly shows it as BIOS core voltage before load is applied - and after load is applied as well (ie back to idle))

Sounds like a motherboard problem or you might need to update your bios. because if you have Vdroop control on high. it should have a higher voltage at load.

the motherboard seems to work fine,

in the mobos utility easy tune, the cpu clocks & multiplier change every second, and the voltage adjusts itsself accordingly.

Just bought the hardware yesterday and they MEM tested everything and hardware, .... ?

Have ppl been touching PLL voltage much or any other settings? I wonder if tweaking some other voltages might help.

no, all voltage settings are on auto

btw, in CMOS, its shows correct Ghz, 40x - 4.0, 41x 4.1 etc, just in windows control panel it shows 0.1 Ghz lower.... Maybe because the mem speed is not 4000? eg 3989 mhz? maybe it rounds down ?

Well there must be some thing wrong with the board if it still drops in vol6tage when load line is enabled.
