Hey could this be the reason why windows isnt showing the same correct cpu clock as CMOS, the other day i bought a new CPu, mobo, ram, gpu etc, but used the same HDD, just had to some re adjustments but it took the new hardware quiet well, maybe this caused something to be unlinked ??? maybe a clean install of windows on the new hardware will fix it ?

Bios = 1.135v
CPUz idle = 1.136v
CPUz Load = 1.144v

0.009v variance

Interesting. Is there some sort of setting I could enable or disable to help with this. Not that its a huge issue... just odd.

Do you have a setting for LLC or Vdroop control in bios? I have mine at high setting as there was only 2 levels I could choose from.

I will check tonight. Thanks

Also did some more OC testing last night. I was able to find the minimum voltage for each multiplier (43x-46x) for my chip. Will keep testing to try to get 47 and 48 multi results and will post em up in a nice table if I can. Spreadsheets are fun!

So what sort of LLC settings are people using at the high OCs above 45x multi?

According to DM's post in another thread, SB will respond better to OC with high LLC?

4907 - 1.350v - 49x100.5 - Skramit - i5 2500K - L048A952 / D2 - ASRock P67 Extreme6 - 4506@1.25v - Air (Megahalems)

Finally got a P95 pass at 4907mhz Temps are pretty nutso but it's only for testing limits.

And for my 24/7 OC I settled on 4506mhz at 1.25v (auto) under load.

I'm using AUTO voltage BIOS setting, with -0.040v Fixed Offset which, because ASRock BIOS always gives it too much juice in auto, the -0.040v means it brings temps to a nice level when under 100% load as if I was manually setting the voltage. And then whet it idles it kicks back to 0.944v or something very nice V happy with the auto feature!

24x7:

wow nice results dude, we have same batch but your cpu is so much better..

Still have to test more for minimum stable voltage, but i need around:
1.6GHz - 0.79-0.80v
3.3GHz - 1.08-1.09v
4.0GHz - 1.20-1.21v
4.5GHz - 1.33-1.34v
voltage posted are minimun n maximum voltage on HWMonitor during Prime95.

Have u found out the minimum voltage require to run 3.3GHz or 4GHz stable?

I found changing LLC to my MBs highest level helped tweak the voltage needs much better at higher multis 45x and over. So far I have a spreadsheet for my chip starting at 43x multi to 49 multi testing minimum voltages. Will try to work out lower values soon.

I also love the power savings when using auto voltage for 24x7 OC at 4500! It's great!
