give it a Year or two, and I think the 8 Cores will be in the 950/970 price range

But Ivy Bridge will be out by then! I'm going to wait and see what's on offer from Sandy Bridge E (6 or 8 cores + HT), Ivy Bridge (4 cores + HT but 22nm so maybe better overclocking) and Bulldozer (8 cores without HT). Once all 3 options are out (and folding results from each) I'll make my next cpu upgrade.

Edit: I just realised that this month we will have earned around 84 million points. That's more than double January!

Sadly No, my weather station lost some data too, ah well have copied some of the Tuggeranong data in, close enough.

There were some proteins that were ready to upload that weren't so that was a bonus.
All back to normal now, have cranked the 2600 (non K) up to 3.9GHZ & increased memory speed to 1600MHZ so we'll hopefully squeeze a little more out of this box. (stock cooling still)

No more threat list for the team
They're still gaining on us (by the average ppd) but only just.

Things have improved so much. Nice job

Wow... thats a BIG update:

05.29, 6pm 773,024 326

Cant find any particularly massive dumps from an individual user... maybe a re-credit of some missing points?

Keep up the great work peoples

Cheers

G

I've noticed a few times I seem to have been not credited a couple of proteins in an update. Mostly seems to be GPU ones too. I had a nice little bump that update.

I've noticed a few units recently on my SMP clients that have a bonus of around 6k, these obviously taking a bit longer are knocking my PPD around a bit.

Still a bloody awesome effort. Hopefully over the coming months some more 8 core CPUs are going to hit the market, with the new Bulldozer coming out and possibly a price war on these, interesting times for the bigadv!
