I'm going from Liteningrom 2.7 to WanamLite now. Is there a particular ICS/newer modem for those on the Telstra network? I had been flashing Liteningrom previously and then flashing I9100TDVKF2 Telstra modem.

Hi guys,

Just about to make the jump to ICS (yeah yeah, I know I'm late ). Could I get confirmation that the following packages are correct?

ICS 4.0.3:
XWLP8
Android 4.0.3
This package has: PDA: XWLP8| Modem/phone: XXLPS| CSC: OXALPS
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1075278

Root:
CF-Root-SGS2_XW_XEN_LP7-v5.4-CWM5.zip
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1103399

Thanks.

This could give you an idea, but it seems to mainly focus on the stock browser.

I didn't notice much of a difference except the browser changes, new task manager and more responsive/better battery consumption.

Looks don't seem much different but to me, it feels much smoother and quicker to do everything.
Also, I chucked Apex launcher on my phone. I was using ADWLauncher and Apex is so much quicker.

Just thought I'd tell you guys about a couple of recent problems I've had.

After installing ICS (stock) my battery life went down to less than 10 hours
I have a feeling one of my apps didn't like ICS much at all.
Also Chrome kept crashing. In the end I wiped and installed CM9.
That got rid of all the problems and battery life is closer to 24 hours now (with plenty of use at work).

But this weekend my phone kept turning off in my pocket! In the end I went and took the cover off, cleaned battery contacts + reinserted - it's been good since.

My other problem (phone thinking the charger is randomly plugged in etc.) has gone completely away, haven't seen this in at least 6 months

A friend of mine mentioned the Facebook app seems to go a little crazy in the background sometimes (runs at 20% CPU and heats the phone up). I noticed it over the weekend. Almost like the Facebook app doesn't like ICS?

Other than that, loving ICS

I've also noticed this. Running Facebook and then suddenly the phone is very hot to touch, and you can see the app highlighted in red under Task Manager.

Can anyone confirm for me which Dock works with the Casemate Barely there case?

Also, on ICS, is there a way to manually link Google and Fb contacts?
