Anyway, mite order one next week through either 2, atm unlocked mobiles are cheaper then handtec by roughly 40 bucks...but i just want to order and pay for it, not fukk around with security stuff.

Oh..and what the delivery times like?..that considerings the phone is in stock
If you use Unlocked Mobiles, you probably don't want to use Royal Mail - the delivery times are atrocious.

I'm still waiting for mine and it got into Royal Mail's hands on the 10th, allegedly left the UK on the 13th May. 5-7 days delivery is a farce.

My order finally got processed. Little did I realize that the number they wanted was easily obtained by looking at my internet banking, I would of done it way sooner otherwise. It's not really any fuss and if you know it's there it's bloody easy.

Also, I'd recommend FedEx. Royal Mail is crap, I've had multiple items take forever from the UK but FedEx from everywhere has always been reliable and quick in my experiences.

i think it really depends , sometimes takes up to 14 days minimum 7 business days ( majority of my parcels from UK takes about 8 days on average to arrive )

apologies if this has been asked before. Also my brief google search didn't yield any results.

Can you guys that have this phone already upload some photos taken with the camera?

How are you finding the camera.

I ask because i like everything else. Like i did with my desire however the camera on the desire is shocking. So a better camera is something i definetly want in my next android device.

word, I need to weld it to a 10 tonne weight for it to be still enough to get a blurr free photo, considering the noise is horrible would make me thinks its already pushing its max iso, would only leave me to think the lens is some horribly narrow pos.

5-7 days delivery from the other side of the world is pretty good. have some patience, mine came in 7 business days (unlocked via royal mail)

the camera is bloody awesome!! not quite as good as my x100 (duh) but very sharp and not so bad in low light either.

and so easy to use as well... connect via usb and lightroom lists it as a device to import photo/video from.

Is anyone worried about the lack of AUS warranty on these UK orders?

I'm pretty keen for this phone but not so keen on sending it back to the Uk if there are ever any issues....

does the android marketplace have any sort of discount code system? i'm thinking the marketplace would have to know that the device is a galaxy s2 otherwise it wouldn't allow a free download. and if it knows that then it might know that our phones aren't AU-originated

but if it checks via telco or regional setting then hopefully we're in luck

edit: or maybe it's pre-installed yuck

Well that's one of the downfalls of buying stuff from overseas. However, Samsung do have a international warranty centre from memory, so it may not have to go all the way back to the UK.
