Man, I must really suck at this game, 30 laps of practise online and best I can get is 1:09 in attack mode!

Didn't realise the stealth models were allowed, can I change to GTR500 before the first race without penalty?

Yeah, if you havn't had an official race(I can't see you in any results lists), your good to go. Its only if you change the car... Keep in mind tho, your carrying 50KG of weight which effects the car quiet alot...

Ok, thanks for that Rusty. I'll do some laps in both and make a decision today.

Hmm bummer to see Mordy go, hopefully one day he'll make a cameo on the track again Maybe it can be called the Mordy Cup in honour of all his hard work getting the championship up and running

Anyway, looking forward to another meet! See everyone Wednesday

Any tips?
I'm only averaging 1:11
Nismo Z is at default settings.

I can't get the first corner, I always mess that up.

The last corner and the preceeding kink downhill can be taken at much higher speed than you think. Ignore the gear indicator icon.

I can't speak for flesh cause he seems to be a second or two faster then us mere mortals, but im anticipating in online mode 1:09 to 1:11 would be a competitive range for not killing tyres.

This is a very tricky circuit! I also warn people to be careful of mounting the concrete on the first of the tight right handers (the ones in tunnels). Whilst you can cut almost a full second doing so, im pretty sure it's a penalty inducing area.

Im going to do a bit of testing tonight (around 9ish AEDT) I'll knock up a server called "OCAU JSGT testing" for anyone interesting in joining... wont be racing.. just testing.. :-)

that 'boost' is the boost the game can give to a player who is behind the pack/leader, typically not used in real racing just fun stuff.

I was free running last night online.
Averaging 1:11 on clean laps. Fastest was 1:10...

Just chucked the car around Deep Forest for half a dozen quick laps.
So far 1:08.2 with the same setup from Laguna.
Will work on the setup and see where it takes me.
