So Gents, thought you might all be interested in this....

The observant amongst you notice I have implemented the points system we discussed and agreed upon towards the end of the season. In a nutshell, 160 for first down to 10 for 16th.

These extra points (ie: points for placing worse than 7th) have really livened up the field and shown just how close some of the battles were this season. The lighter blue shading represents points for places that under the old points system would have simply been zero points.

The three orange cells were for car change penalties implemented in the second round. They didn't end up having any effect on final standings after factoring in dropped rounds.

Also, as per the rules I've dropped everyone's two worst rounds. I've clearly labelled those so there can be no confusion. It sure did make things tight between Benny and CJ!!!

Once again, congratulations to everyone for a cracking season!!

Heh very close between 4th and 1st. Would have been interesting if I had of finished the final race, I think I might have been 3rd placed

Can't wait for season 2!

I should also note that we had a pretty clean season with only one minor incident that I can recall. I really hope its as good as this next time round.
Congrats to Benny and Monkey boy for an outstanding season. Also congrats to everyone who raced in season 1. Best online action I've had in a long time. (Other than eve

Perhaps Season 2 we can make prizes available for 1st-3rd positions. Perhaps a car or something.

Damn that did make it close, and to think, in the last race I only secured 4th on the last lap after someone ran out of fuel.
That would have put me and CJ equal first if I stayed 5th.

But after looking at it, I would have dropped that round anyway and had my 4th place count from round 4.
So you never really had a chance anyway CJ

That last race was a cracker, really mixed up the standings and made for a tight finish to the championship.

Congrats to all involved and a special thanks to Beasty poos and Rusty for making it all happen.

IMO, that scoreboard doesn't do it justice. Stalker clearly should have been higher due to his issues, mechanical or otherwise. LOLworthy that I equalled him on points :P

my aim was to see what its like and try and get a few points, seeing that i did both! if only i did 1 extra race i might have been 1 more place ahead....

to those that organized it a big thanks even if it was only 2 races in that series for me
