ACETONE >> available through hardware stores
Safety gear (gloves/goggles) >> available through hardware stores
Styrofoam container >> AIR Liquid will do that as well for $8 (25kg container)

STORAGE:
According to AirLiquid it should last up to 2-4 days max in a cool spot with styrofoam lid closed of course.....i'd probably use masking tape to close the gaps a well

depends how much you have... i lived in jakarta and we bought 100kgs for our (very large ill admit) pool for my 16th (MANY years ago now!)... we used about half and chucked the other half in a big esky and it lasted ages, this is in the tropics...

but no, dont expect anything less than 25kg to last longer than 36-48 hours

mehh, went to BOC today, they closed before I finished work though...boo, apparently its $30-40 for 5kilo of Dice in just one big fat block.

so better than the prices listed above, BUT they shut at 4:30, booooooo, gunna have to go pick some up during lunch break tomorrow, as for Ln2, the Kunda park BOC G&G place doesn't stock any, they said it would have to be delivered from Brisbane at a minimum order of 10Liters and that could cost anywhere between $70-$150, so that's out of the question.

You don't want it in a block for benching, the smaller the pellets the better, typically BOC charges between $6-7 per kilo, lasts approx two days in an esky

Ah snap creekin...

Ah snap creekin...
yeah....well see.....thing is, I dont want it for benching, in fact the dice will be no where near a pc, I gave other plans for mr block, hammer and chisel will be a requirement.

also I found another place that isn't BOC that sells 20kgs for $60, so that's better cost wise, will be quite the interesting weekend, ps, pics and video WILL be included.

Rather than just copying and pasting information that others have put forward in the original forum that it came from, at least give some credit / link to where you stole it from.

Poor form

On the Gold Coast there are 2 suppliers, BOC in Labrador and Nitrogen Australia in Elanora - they charge ~$4/Litre for LN2 (pickup with own container).

Still looking to purchase a decent dewar on the net.

To me, this price is astronomical enough, let alone $6/Litre - unless that is a delivered price.

Dude, you should see how much we get charged for liquid helium!! You would pooh pebbles!

And we bulk buy! We go through 1000L of nitrogen every few months.

LN keeps for ages in dewers tho. Highly recomend it.
