Cause the cables are extremly tight, and i do not like ugly extensions.
It also saves me having to buy sleeving to make it look nice, as that is one of the last ugly parts in my rig imo.

No one has/will/can die from 12V, the problem is miswiring will take your entire computer down, and for what? some black and blue cables which are hidden away in the computer anyway...

the old saying its not the volts but the amps is bs btw...
but an easier way of saying...low voltage shit can still do Bad Things™
the resistance in our skin is too much for 12v, BUT if you penetrate your skin, for whatever reason

sure a psu is not likely to kill you or me...
but brayway is a diff story!

the first and most obvious prob is fucking up the pin outs...easy done..
not easy fixed...
the 2nd and less obvious is using the wrong gauge wire and overloading them and they melt, and short, and catch fire..

but 3rd and most important..
if you need to ask, DON'T!

i have made most of the cabling in my rig by hand....but i am a sparky

i have 20yrs experience, and have been bitten many times, and also set things on fire and blown things up...many many times..

it's fun...
but not in your own house..on your own pc...

if your really keen to do it..read up on atx pinouts and specs first...
then buy some extensions....

Everyones been over this thousands of times, 12V will never kill you. doesnt matter if its even an electrified barb stuck in your leg, the internal resistance is still too high to allow any significant current to flow through your heart.

Also it will be impossible to mis wire, as I will remove one cable, replace it, remove another, replace it....

Cant find pix, i just want to lengthen the stock Modular cables.
I dont see the difference between doing this, and modding PSU extension cables...
