Yea, saw that. Fucking typical, the day my Sensation gets sent away for repair/inspection (dust issues), is the day the thing gets unlocked (I assume).

I've moved from my Desire to a shiny new Sensation.

I did touch a Galaxy 2 and it just feels plastic and cheap.

Anyway I'm proud to be a HTC fanboi.

I have rooted my Desire and messed around with roms before, but I can't recall - does rooting the Sensation cause you to lose all settings i.e does it factory reset the phone when I root it?

A somewhat noobish question but I would really appreciate some advice from you experienced rooters.

Rooting any of my previous HTC phones hasn't wiped anything off the phone however I don't own a Sensation and haven't read up on it...
