1 Raw file comp idea.

Got the idea from Fro Knows Photos.

pretty much someone puts up a raw file(how we decide this i am not sure) and then everyone downloads that image and then edit's it to their style. We all then post the final results and then get people to vote on which ones best/discuss editing styles or whatever.

What do you guys think?

Sounds like a good idea. Especially if People are happy to share their techniques.

Yeh maybe we can get OP approval to sticky Raw of the month ? Bit like Iron photography but good for those that either don't have their equipment handy or havnt had a chance to get out / motivated

I'd support the idea if someone wants to organise it.

Just give a try for a bit and see if people get interested.

...Not that you would need to be an admin to organise it and get it going...

I'm in for this. Definitely a good way to learn. And the winner each month should go through their techniques as a bit of a learning tool.

I dont want to run or organize it. My spelling and gramma would drive you guys insane.

I do however would like to get the ball rolling. Lets start small and see what happens.

Yeah i know. maybe not the best example of a photo for us to work with but i gotta sleep soon and i just felt like throwing something in there just to see how things turn out.
