Just got myself a EP2. Looking to use some of my AF-S G lenses and was wondering if there are adapters for this?
found this on eBay but no sure what they mean by the "pusher with the fixed ring" Any on had luck with sourcing a adapter?

By virtue of being 'G' the lens doesn't have an aperture ring. However... trying to dechiper the chinglish it seems it may have a ring to close the aperture manually. Not sure though. But hey it's $30

Yeah, it sounds like it has an aperture ring on the adapter, and the warning is about not automatically stopping down when you hit the shutter?

My guess would be that the "pusher with the fixed ring" is the manual aperture control ring on the old D lenses...

i have the novoflex version of this, works well with my gelded tamron 90mm macro.
the "pusher" is a little pin which when turned opens up the aperture ring in the lens - if you look at the back of your lens you'll see a little pin on it that opens up the aperture, that's the pin that the adapter pin moves. so the ring on the adapter (marked Lock <-> Open in this case) is essentially an aperture ring. |
