Spot on I reckon. Saves the retailer the hassle and if its an established rountine - why not?

Wanna see some review if possible.

The only attraction to the H series for me, is that its supposedly "closed-loop" and thus doesn't require servicing/maintenance.
I like air coolers because you install it once and forget. High end Noctua gear has served me well in that regard.

I wonder though, have any of you guys heard of these H series products leaking, or issues with the motors? Corsair products are usually pretty good value for money (ram, psu, cases), so that'd be my only other reservation apart from "is it worth $170".

Im with you - prefer closed loops and they will take less vertical room in the case..

Nice and cheap compared to comparable AU prices in the past. Sorry for jumping the gun earlier but dead keen on the h80 and want to see some results with it.

Looks like a bit of a review here Corsair H80 vs Antec Kuhler H2O 920 http://www.hardwareheaven.com/review...roduction.html sounds like a pretty good cooler.

I've now decided on getting the Fractal Design Arc Midi as it has the radiator mount offset towards the side of the case to allow for larger ram to be able to fit between the mobo and cooler.

I think I'll also wait to see reviews on the Asetek 2011C which is looking like being OEM'd under Antec's Kuhler range. Same as the H100 but with a 38mm thick rad vs 27mm for the H100. Some comparisons between these two will be interesting.

I'd like to know how it performs against Rasa 750 RX240. Considering the price

Am I reading this correctly?

H80 review mentions:
"The main component in the H80 is the CPU block which as well as using a micro-channel copper plate with thermal paste pre-applied also houses the pump for our cooler."

Does this mean that the cpu block comes with preapplied thermal paste? Is this standard? If so, any idea what type of paste is it?

H100 looks damn nice. Not sure whether to spend $160 on it or $108 on the Noctua D14.

My u12p has served me well on my 775 board.

I'll wait for other reviews to come out. That temp result is almost the same as my 930 @ 4.3 1.35v with NH-D14 (slightly higher load temp, but it's winter now). I don't think it's worth it price/performance wise.
