Still can't see any reason to spend more than $20 on it.....no talk of better FFB, and seems to be less of a focus on wet weather this time round, remembering that they butchered the wet weather in the patch for 2010.

Gameswelt.tv has released an extensive video interview with Codemasters’ Paul Jeal, senior producer of the studios’ upcoming Formula One 2011 title.

In the interview, Jeal mentions some of the titles improvements including a more realistic AI that sets real times now, improved physics and tire model as well as a more extensive career mode. We also get to check out some new gameplay footage as Jeal explains some of the new features.

In related news, Codemasters has confirmed that there are no plans to release a demo of the upcoming title. Like with prior titles such as F1 2010 and DiRT 3 who did not get a demo-treatment either, Codemasters blame a packed development schedule for the missing time to create a trial version.

This means that sim racers will have to rely solely on reviews to find out whether or not the studio makes good on their promise of better physics and less bugs than last time around.

F1 2011 will be released for the PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on September 23, right in time for the final races of the real life 2011 Formula One World Championship season. The new title will come with improved graphics & handling, new features such as multiplayer splitscreen as well as a much more extensive career mode.

Me thinks it's not in the game then. Really it's not that big of a deal breaker, it's just a safety car.

I still cant get over the Codemasters website just being redirected to Facebook. How many months has that been now?

Its pretty obvious that codemasters don't have very good public relations ....

They appoint people to moderate their forums and then gagg them so they don't reply....they put out games which are substandard and flawed beyond belief (the modding community fix them up)..and you don't hear from them again until they want the next round of cash!!

Whoever is in charge of PR.there deserves to be shot and his clothes burned.

CM demo, LOL, the Dirt2 demo was such a turd I'd never buy D2 no matter how cheap....if these halfwits don't have the brains to properly promote their game, then fuck em, they won't get any launch day cash from me.

Both F1 2010 and Shift2 required patches to fix steering wheel support, so will they get it right out the box seeing as it's just an expansion pack to 2010...
