2 x Nvidia Nforce2 10/100Mbps (1x) & Realtek RTL8201L/ICS1893AF (1x)
i personally don't think is necessary to have 3 NIC
i want a raid controller man
if i'm really gonna buy a nforce2
i'm sure i will go the non-onboard video way

Can't wait to see some micro ATX nforce2 goodness, have some custom stuff in mind.

DiVi8

BTW i think a single 10/100 ether port is fine, i sure don't wanna be paying for 3 of em when i'll only ever use the one (maybe 2 at the most)

2 is what i'm using atm
1 for cable and 1 for lan
and i don't see the use of the "extra" 3rd port

Well.. if you have 2 PC's and Cable, then you have no need for a stupid big 8port hub..

Thats all I could think of

but a 5 port hub only cost 45$
i will buy a hub instead of having so much NIC cause NIC eats up resources

That could work

But im thinking the extra ethernet ports are intended to be used for some sort of beowulf clutering or something odd like that, where it would be a significant advantage having small slim stackable systems like that...

Just a thought

Well.. it's hardly a review of the NForce2.. it gets a few mentions, but it is only a prototype board and they say it is *very* buggy...

Not exactly what I was hoping considering it should be released in two weeks or so... they are obviously aiming squarely @ the christmas market.. I wouldn't be supprised if it isn't available untill the end of this month/beginning of next month
