Default Lost input after source change

Hey guys,

After finally putting together my HTPC, there is one little bug that is annoying me

The HTPC (GTX550 latest drivers) displays fine on the TV (Samsung LA52A650A1F) via HDMI (using input 1 on the TV), but then after watching austar for a while (input 2) and changing back to the HTPC the TV has no input.
Basically happens when i change the tv input away from the HTPC to use something else (austar, PS3, etc.) and then back again.

Only after shaking the mouse around for like 30sec the picture comes back.

I have all of the power saving options turned off in Windows 7.

After some googling, i think it may have something to do with this "handshake" that is required for HDMI. Or maybe my google-fu is not up to scratch to find what im after

Has anyone found a solution on how to fix this loss of input from the HTPC?

Cheers

Sounds like you're describing the same problem as in http://forums.overclockers.com.au/sh...d.php?t=964397

In which case, my fix is the same, which you can find in there.
