Yeah, but I've found that even when I'm using CLS, the 'spill' from the onboard flash (set to zero), is too much. And flagging it means that half the time, you're blocking the signal to your speedlight(s).

there will be no D4

will be called the 1D and be in the newly announced '1' system format. will have super high speed burst mode and full HD video

a Nikon 1D ... doesn't canon sort of already have a 1D?

Yeah I just meant in comparison to what I paid for it, it'll still have it's decent used price tag like anything else.

Ive been waiting for the d800 or whatever to come out so that i can pickup a d700 for cheaper...

Should I just go for a d700 now? Want one pretty bad.

Why "wait" for something you

1. Dont know when would be released
2. Dont know the specs other then speculation.
3. Waste time waiting instead of taking photos with the d700 which is real.

1. its coming eventually, latest next year
2. its 100% going to be better than D700
3. its not like he currently doesnt have a camera and cant take any photos with it

i dont mean better by 100%, i mean its for 100% certainty itll be better than D700

yeah there might not be any improvements to the end-image, but whatever DSLR kwax is using now probably has more than enough IQ anyway

the question he raised isnt really an appropiate discussion, only he knows what he wants to spend money on and when...
camera wise, all the facts have already been mentioned
