D900 will have 108MP and the 5D4 will have 216MP

That's why. It's a very simple part of contrast-detect autofocus that already exists in the D7K.

Yeah I thought it was a little odd how Nikon claimed that the D7k was a %100 Nikon sensor but then the K-5 came out with another 16MP Sony sensor.

When I first started looking at DSLRs to buy, the fact that Canon had more to do with their sensor design and manufacturing appealed to me more than Nikon but after a while it didn't seem important.

Plus I read after a while that Kodak made the M9 sensor, or at least designed it.

Versus the D3s @ 12800 I'd say the D4 holds more fine detail, although perhaps a little more chroma noise.

As the data reveals, the 16GB H Series XQD card outpaces the best CompactFlash by a large margin. Sony's 32GB card is likely to be just as speedy. The data also shows that Lexar's 1000X CompactFlash is at the forefront for this card type, and that the D4 is capable of writing to CompactFlash cards faster than any previous Nikon.

Unsurprisingly, XQD comes out on top in both.
It's still a little concerning that neither San Disk or Lexar have committed to XQD at this stage.

Also in the article is a run down on Ethernet performance. This is disappointing for two reasons, a) its only 100Mbps and b) The D4 can only manage about half of the bandwidth available. Hopefully a firmware update can fix the latter problem.

Lastly, photozone have their review of AF-S 85mm 1.8G on FX. Its a winner

So, in summary, for most subjects the lens gives around 95% of the performance of an AF-S 85/1.4 but at just one third of the price. Certainly highly recommended!
