Question 13CABS Taxi Booking App (Melbourne)

Hi everyone,

We need your help.

We have just uploaded our 13CABS Taxi Booking App and we having a few issues with it crashing on devices.

The devices we have to test work ok. But it seems there is combination of handset/OS out there that has an issue.

It seems the original Wildfire phones on 2.1 may have issues seeing the App in the Market due to the fingerprint issue. Does anyone have ideas on how we can bypass that?

Also can somebody with a Wildfire(Telstra) upgraded to 2.2 see if they can successfully download the App?

Otherwise if others could please download our free App and let us know how you went using the features that would be most appreciated.

https://market.android.com/details?id=com.cabs

We are keen to know the following:
- your Handset type
- Android OS version
- which part of the App crashed

We want to make this useful and reliable for the taxi travelling public.

Thanks in advance,

Stuart O.

Oh boo, went to book a MAXI cab but it doesn't have the option used the website instead which was great.

App seems to work fine from the quick play I had in it. Using Samsung Galaxy S with Cyanogen Mod 7.1 (Android 2.3.4) If I need a second cab tonight I will use the app and let you know

Edit: Apologies, there is a maxi taxi booking option in the app, niiice!

Thanks Dodoman - we will check out the Honeycomb issue. What device do you have?

/\pocalypse - yes MAXI bookings are available. Once in the booking menu there is every option you can get be calling a telephonist.

What the App can do and the telephonist can not is provide a map with 30 sec updates as to the location of the taxi assigned your job. You can watch the car coming and know which way to look up the street for it!

guy.incogneto - what device do you have? 2.2.1 has been hit and miss depending on the device.

Thanks for the great feedback.
