+1 for me, had it for a while now. Love it, best keyboard iv'e ever bought. I lol so hard @ people when they talk about Logitech keyboards or some cheapo LED ones, not sure why but I got over the fact of colored keys & repetitive LCD screens. + Gaming / Normal typing is as treat with a Mechanical Keyboard.

From what ive gathered its based on noise. Altho I probably should read up on it properly but I <3 my MX Blue. Its very loud, my parents can hear me type from the other end of the house if the door is open. The feel of it is absolutely amazing and being able to play games with 6 keys being pressed at the same time, well it makes FPS games amazing (Bad Company 2 feels a bit different but in a better improvement way)

I've moved onto MX Black. They are very soft and nice to type on, also quite silent and linear which makes it less awkward for gaming.

Is anyone in a position to compare the Majestouch and the Majestouch 2?
I know Filco say they have made improvements but does it warrant buying a new keyboard if you were to stick with the same switch type? ie: Browns. I wouldn't buy the same switch again but I am interested in if anyone can objectively tell the difference between the two versions of Filco. And, I'm sure I could google this but, is the Ninja a Majestouch 2?

I really don't find the blues to be that loud though. I use my board at work in a small office with another person about 1.5m away and he doesn't find it loud at all. How hard do you press the keys? It could be that you are bottoming out a lot which would be creating extra noise.

It is some 2 years old but here is a review of Deck keyboards.
I will keep hunting for something more recent. Here is a Deck legend review on Youtube: Hmmm all of a sudden I cant embed you tube correctly. Brain fart? I paste the link in and hit the youtube surround yeah?? Or am I going senile? Here is the link anyway.

I've tried blacks, blues, browns but none of them feel anywhere near as good as my IBM buckling spring.

honest question: how do these new mechanical keyboards differ from the keyboards from the 90s?

I bought a Razer Blackwidow Ultimate recently and it is so much easier to type and game with than my old G15.
I kinda miss how quiet the G15 was, and the lcd screen, but I don't think I could go back. |
