The HHKB is a funny one- it was designed to be optimised for unix usage and somehow became 'cool' along the way. It was never originally designed to be a 'gamer' board or even to be used under a Microsoft operating system!

On the 55G here, and love it to bits. Dracz pretty much summed it up perfectly.

sweet man glad you are liking it.

The opposite of this is of course much more annoying. You get used the the TKL and go back to full size and are forever crashing your mouse into the keyboard, I do this at work all the time and it drives me nuts

That's fair enough. If you find the HHKB will suffice then that's completely cool - but back when I used to play CS competitively, I saw quite a variety in terms of keyboard layouts, and there definitely is a demand for the "right" side of the keyboard beyond the needs of a casual gamer. (Personally I used to use the num-pad for quick-buy scripts).

Currently BF3 default binds quite a few of its keys to the F-row, HHKB's layout just isn't practical for gaming. Sure you could get used to it, but when the difference between winning and losing is measured in split-seconds, I'd much rather be pressing 1-key rather then 2
