Well my white engraved key caps arrived today. So sexy used against the backdrop of the black keyboard!

Both my Filco's have it. I just thought it was my desk; but, now others have mentioned it ... hmmm.

My black ones are coming in the mail for my Filco. How did you find the goop they were packaged in? Easy to get off?

That's hot! Can you get white caps with black font?

I'm on the prowl for a new mech soonish. Currently have a basic black widow ulti. Was going to wait until the new corsairs, or the new quieter widows come out. But that might be a while.

For fans of older mechanical boards, here are some shots of one I finished cleaning up over the weekend.

The board is a Chicony KB-5191, and from what I've read its really luck of the draw as to what switches you get with these boards (they shipped this model with around 4 different key switches, including 'fake' cherrys). I really lucked out and managed to score one with genuine cherry mx blue switches. Not bad for a board made in 1988!

Anyhow, the pics (with my doubleshot modifier keys and Esc for extra bling):

Looks great! Thought about maybe painting the casing black? I love the retro look but just wondering...
