Stenchie - I hope this doesnt come across as an attempted hijack as it isnt mate - if there is any angst I will stop this foray into the mechanical keyboard club.

Just bit the bullet and did the same, for my Das Keyboard's Brown switches.

I might make a combined poll (what brands/switches) and club thread. Anything I need to know before starting a club?

It's fine, if you can generate enough interest I'll add it to the OP. Just don't want to bother if it's only going to be a half a dozen people.

Thumbs up

I've got a DAS Pro S, and I love it! It almost makes you type more because its so nice to type on. In the middle of the night when the house is silent it can be a bit loud. Its built like a brick-shithouse too

So where is this club?

You should add the ducky and leopold to your op. The red switch ducky is great value.

My Razer Blackwidow's A key occasionally gets a little stuck if I'm pushing down on it slightly to the left while holding shift key as well. It happens more often than you think! Mainly in BFBC2

I did pull the cap off and have a look at the switch. It looks okay, and hasn't happened since putting the cap back on.

But again, just a word of caution for anyone considering the blackwidow or other razer products

Really shit for typing if you're the kind of person who can't touch type properly and accidentally keep pressing the wrong keys though.
