Borderlands 2

the sequel to borderlands is now officially confirmed.

Gearbox will likely make this a Steamworks game... So hurrah for that!

Honestly, I am fucking psyched. I got well over 200 hours on the 360 and PC versions of Borderlands, I've finished the game countless times (Never beat Crawmerax though...)

Honestly I didn't feel there was a grind, I was always able to just do the missions, there was never a case where I had to shoot guys to level up so I could complete the next stage.

This hopefully will be a fun game. Borderlands 1 is fun - still is. I recently purchased the additional DLC packs and am working my way through them.

I find a lot of the grind though as being you searching for a "holy grail" weapon that will put you in good stead for the next 5-10 levels.

Let's hope that GearBox is a company that listens to feedback from their customers and will improve for this game!

They are very active on their forums, and they do listen. Moxxi's arena is worth buying for the Bank alone (Although I enjoyed the round based gameplay as well)

The story was such a crock of shit in Borderlands 1. Which was a real shame because the atmosphere and the art direction was awesome.

I found gameplay to be okay overall (it gets a bit tedious even playing with three friends), some of the missions were just lame.

Overall, I would like to see what they do with Borderlands 2. Hopefully something for people who finish the game! A better arena/pvp system would be great

I'd like to see them add in more active abilities. Just having 1 is a bit lame. I'd love to see a proper skill tree with more abilities.

Fucking excellent! i loved Borderlands, didnt mind the grind at all, hopefully B2 will improve on an already awesome game.
