Don't get your hopes up. It's a multiplat, even the interface isn't logically suited to using a mouse.

Wow, uninformed much? 2 weapons in DNF was a decision made by 3D Realms, and Gearbox have actually patched the game post release to allow for at least 4 weapons.

Gearbox will hopefully make the PC version a little more PC friendly though.

Wonder if they're going to use the same Unreal engine or maybe move to something a bit better? Unreal engine blows at doing shadows, and they look terrible in Borderlands.

Is the ending going to be as fucking shit as the first one?

I fucking wanted to kill someone when I finished the game (first and second play through)

I loved the first game and excited about a sequel. Had a really unique style to it - I had fun even when grinding for XP.

Who cares about the story? I've played Borderlands for hours now and still don't get tired of shooting things in the face.

Critical Bitch.

I found gameplay to be okay overall (it gets a bit tedious even playing with three friends), some of the missions were just lame.

Overall, I would like to see what they do with Borderlands 2. Hopefully something for people who finish the game! A better arena/pvp system would be great
Agree with you on the story....what story? I loved the gameplay though, just awesome when played co op. Seriously couldnt play the game single player though.

Not only that, it is a simple command line tweak to allow more than even 4 to be equipped, so it's not like there is an engine limitation.

edit: FUCK just lost my edit, of changes id like to see.

no gamespy, steam friendslist will do.
all weapons viable. No more repeaters being the spare prick at the party when revolvers come along, or rpgs just sucking.
adjustable fov
stronger ending for primary campaign, although i'm with sebstar, its not a dealbreaker.
bigger inventory, or more option for storing good guns. I spend a lot of time squirreling away good guns for friends when they come to play.
more class skills, and bigger skill tree.
more than 4 person multiplayer. even 8 player would be cool.
more vehicle weapon choices
and the biggie...

a vehicle large enough to house everyone, just as fun as the original cars.

The story is about on par for the action RPGs it is modeled after. What was the story in Diablo? It's Heaven vs Hell and a demon is on the loose... go get 'im tiger!

any chance of random areas (like diablo random maps) instead of repeating the same old boring places in new games ? Hopefully more types of enemies too.

Pros
-Nice replay value, on my 5th playthrough2 atm with almost 200 hours played

-large selection of weapons - weapons double as the games cashflow, cash found or given as rewards is never enough to cash someone up, but the unlimited number of useless guns make for a great cashflow

-never any issues with running out of ammo (just started playing Just cause 2 and Im puling my hair out looking for a fucking bullet to shoot someone with) it also stays the same price from lvl 1 to lvl 69 which is GREAT when you have 10,000 bullets between all your weapons and dont want to spend a million dollars on ammo

-4 player campaign - makes replay value even better, when you finish playthrough2 by yourself, you can start all over again with a mate and it changes the whole dynamic of the game

Cons
-4 player campaign (the game's campaign is not designed to be played by more than one person when it comes to health ammo and weapon drops in crates and skag piles, new games with 4 player co-op relies heavily on money between level 0-10 which is also scarce) I always end up getting into never ending arguments over not letting someone have a weapon from a crate, it needs a terraria piggy bank style of crate payload I think, different weapons for each player only visible to them.

- lack of adequate fast travel network in DLC's, this shit me hard, you want to reallocate skill points, change characters colour or return to another location at the end of the crimson highway in general knoxx, and it ends up being quicker to quit the game, restart it and load from the NewU station, then select another location rather than drive all the way back.

-missions, I couldn't stand entering the rust commons from new haven, finding the middle of no were bounty board, then being told there are new missions available for the rust commons at the new haven bounty board, then going back to new haven to be told after I left that there are now new missions at the middle of no were bounty board...that kind of fucking around wasting my time shit was annoying.

-the story line was horrible, I still think its the worst of any game ive ever played.
