Ssome kind of crafting would be cool. Similar to runewords in Diablo 2. Or add parts to the gun which give those different stats, instead of them all being random out of the box.

For example you collect some kind of gem/scroll type of item and apply it to the gun. Apply more than 1 of the same type and that stat stacks up. (Like adding gems to items in diablo 2 )

They are definitly very active in their official forums. I would highly recommend people post their ideas there.

I just hope they don't mess with the formula too much.
Like others have said, I'm aware that the original had a couple of shortcomings... but the fact that there are so many people putting 100+ hours into it must mean that there is a winning formula there.

Like the grinding. Yes, grinding is, well, grinding... but along the way there were plenty of different weapons to be had and played with, so killing the same enemies over and over was still fun!

I think one of the most enjoyable things was you'd always be facing something different. There weren't 5 different types of enemies, there were well over 100. Each one required a different weapon type to take down, and depending on your skill tree you would use different ones.

I think the winning formula was the combinations, how many people did their 2nd, 3rd, nth playthrough with a different class using the same strategies as their last one?

Loved Borderlands 1 and its DLCs. Can't wait for the sequel. Hype!

really? I got bored in part, because of the lack of diversity in opponents.

Dog things...
Bird things... with occasionally a huge one
Spiderants, some big, some small, some fire, some electric.. w/e same shit.
Normal humanoid
Beefy humanoid
"psycho" humanoid
humanoids in cars
alien protoss wannabe's

..annnd I think that is it?

I enjoyed my first play through... got a few levels into the second, and just lost all interest. (playing co-op the whole time with 2 others btw)

Would have been nice if it had more things, just like armour, or weapons mods.

It sucked that I really only used about 4 different weapons the entire game - I would find one weapon which had really, really good stats and just use that for hours.
More magnets would be better

Yeah more enemies is a must. EPIC. Only game where grinding doesn't feel like grinding at all!

ur forgetting all the types of humans! Psychos, midgets, lance troopers, lance assassins, zombies, bandits and all the weapons they carry and the badass versions too.

But yes, more diversity is a necessity!!! different areas that feel and look different has been confirmed, so this will be an AWESOME change!

What was great about his response was that his name is "Magnus".

I don't know if the latest patch has introduced a lot of bugs/glitches, but it has really turned me off Borderlands. For example, drifters who cannot be killed (as they regenerate health and already have their critical zones hit), oversized terrain hit boxes (which is especially annoying whilst driving), areas on maps where you become stuck and have to kill yourself (or reload a saved game), and the list goes on.
