Hey all,
Just bought a new USB Laser printer, I was hoping to set it up on my Solaris 11E Server, so that i could share it on the network. But I can not for the life of me figure out where to get some drivers for it? Any ideas on where i could get them? can't seem to find it on Brother's website

http://en.opensuse.org/HCL:Printers#Laser_HL-2240D Support only appears to be through closed drivers. Good luck! Wow! I thought you wrote SUSE 11 for a moment. You might be SOL, but I'm no Solaris expert. Last edited by gdjacobs; 15th August 2011 at 8:25 AM. |

Search for a "CUPS" driver for it.
S11X uses the cups printing system, so if a cups driver exists it should work. Note: Buy network-enabled PostScript printers in the future. :-) |
