Pretty sure it's the case.

However I suspect something else. That reservoir gives it away... I am pretty sure this is not water cooling but a way to hide his distillery from the wife. I bet the computer doesn't even turn on and it's one huge decoy.

Bloody hell mate, that reads like one of my very special TL;DR posts.

I don't know if it's ghetto, but it's certainly unique!

Interesting idea to just cut the loop when you install GPU blocks, but I think pulling the whole lot apart and cleaning up/rearranging things would give a better result. Can't complain about the temps though.

I reckon it does turn on.... he's using the 980X as a heat source for evaporation.

GeForce 6200 AGP Graphics card. The fan failed, and I had a passive heat sink, but one of the capacitors was in the way, so this was my solution. Mounting the cap on the other side of the PCB, and putting duct tape under the heat sink to stop the legs shorting on the heat sink.

Cool

I always kept hitting the case under my desk with my legs.
Decided to ditch the case and screw the lot to the desk.

I especially like the vga card securing mechanism..

That's fantastic... Bet you don't have little kids, or cats, or dogs... Else I bet you are fastidious about keeping your pc room's door closed

A man whose priorities are clearly in the right place. *doffs cap*

Quick question though... where are the rest of the bits? You know, the unimportant stuff like PSU, drives and whatnot.

Needs moar pix.

The TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND Gets a little too hot for my liking.

Added small heatsinks..

So far so good

Obviously there are better ways to actually installing the fan & cable but I'm far too lazy to bother with anything on this router. Running latest DD-WRT
