The molotov looks decent and good for defending bomb site and stopping rushes. Taser looks stupid and unusable.

It doesn't look like a huge upgrade over CSS. However, if the price is right I will purchase it (and enjoy wasting my time). Does anyone have any details on how to participate in the October beta test?

I am very much aware of this but still looks very poor. As i said, hopefully gameplay makes up for it if it stays as it currently looks

For comparison, l4d pre-release models vs release models:

Both done by HPE who have been working on CS:S since the new beta for changes and they are working on GO as well.

It's not supposed to be. As they've said it's not CS2, it's just a bit of an upgrade of CS to their most modern engine and some other little gameplay and map updates. It's slated to be ~$15-20 on consoles I believe so you can expect that sort of price

Do we know if there will be two bomb sites, or is it just going to be one?

I thought having 2 bomb sites was a fundamental part of cs? I don't recall any official map ever having one*...

*asides from maybe back in beta days....

A few of the pro CS:S players were given first access (pretty much when we heard about it) to the game. They said (on their video blog thing) that there was only one bomb site on all the maps they played (and that they hated it). So I'm just wondering if we know there's going to be one (like the version they played) or two
