Default Advice with airbrushing computer cases

Could anyone recommend some fine detail airbrush paints that would go on most computer cases? (<--- that is infomation I really need.)

And any other general advice and tips? E.g. what products for gloss coating, sanding ect ect

I am intrested in getting into case painting and reselling. (Most likely on OCAU )

I have a few of the tools already as I use them with my art at tafe:
Like this airbrush http://www.tradetools.com/Catalogue/...uctCode=SAP-CR
And a larger airbrush meant for cars.
and a large air compressor.

Anything else I should get that I might have missed?

Also i was inspired to use my artistic skill for this by http://forums.overclockers.com.au/sh...d.php?t=980686

I just found it funny that you went straight to the point of pure profit on 'airbrushing' a case. Especially the 'I am intrested in getting into case painting and reselling' as to me you want some quick advice on what equipment to buy, purchase some cheap cases and put on some 'cool' effects or logos or other crap just to make some profit. Maybe I just think airbrushing is as tacky as buying a cheap car with a airbrushed bonnet and trying to sell it for more then its worth. And Ive been told so many times from people that are a 'Panel beater' that airbrushing isn't a simple trick to learn overnight. But good luck and if its real inspiration, don't give up

Oh I see now yeah I guess it is pretty funny from that point of view (Greedy Green horn me). However I wasn't going to go for cool effects or logos I'm a pretty arty guy having sold a few works in the commercial art world also studying for 2 years in visual arts and planning another 3 years (I believe I do have a little bit of talent to use more then just stencils or at least will one day).
The problem with sticking to what i already know is that there is too much competition for young artist like me and the area I live in, pretty much only makes tourist art so I thought I would look into cases and try to reach a new group.

Also airbrushing isn't a simple trick I completely agree but I thought the first part of this was to get the right paints and tools information. (it can be really confusing trying to find this stuff out on your own)

I wasn't planning to make some quick cash from cheap cases I thought to myself an antec 1200 would be the min and I should in time aim to paint more higher end cases and at max I could paint 3 cases a year and that's if I was lucky enough to pick up the skills fast.

And yes art for me is real inspiration (one of the few things I've always been good at). I'm always trying to find new ways to live off it but I'm guessing I'll end up a high school art teacher because I didn't win the art worlds lotto.

Maybe you should consider doing a few relatively simple case mods with some elaborate airbrushing work, and post work logs on the various modding forums to get your work seen... try flogging those painted cases off on ebay or something and build up a gallery of your air brush work in the hope of attracting some commissioned work?
