like when i get home, the asus tranny automatically jumps to home, but when i loose range it auto jumps to mifi

check the Tasker thread under Auto Wifi Toggle

it should still work in your situation unless you're in a situation where you keep your mifi ON while at home as well.

whats the get go with your mifi device? do you only turn it on while outside?

yeah, so do you need it turned on at home?

ok i re-read your first post again,

if you leave the wifi on, when you're not in range to your home network, doesnt the transformer start seeking out another connection? if your mifi is turned on it would automatically sync to it, isn't this normal?

when you reach home, just turning off the mifi will force the tf to connect to your home network.

in this case you will need to do a once off setting up in Tasker to connect to your home SSID based on your location.

theoretically should work regardless if your mifi is still broadcasting.
