Default Hitachi 2TB driver Missing 2113 Sectors

Hi Guys,
One of my hitachi drives is short 2113 sectors on the advertised amout - I have six of these drives and all the other 5 report correctly. The drive reports nothing out of the ordinary in SMART.

There is a HPA - Gigabyte screwed me.

I'm the author of that thread. Got caught again by that stupid feature just yesterday. This is what I had to do to delete the HPA (and make sure it didn't just get recreated the next boot)

1. Unplug HD data cable
2. Reboot, fiddle with BIOS to boot from floppy
3. Plug in HD
4. Run MHDD to remove HPA
5. Unplug HD
6. Reboot, change BIOS back to normal boot process
7. Plug in HD

What a pain.

BTW, the HD it "infected" was connected to a SATA expansion card, so this feature isn't just limited to the onboard ports.
