Default Got RAM?

So my girlfriends dad just came home with this:

5 bluging static bags full of 30 pin, 72 pin and some PC100 SD.

Haven't gone through it yet, but a quick look found 8x 16mb 72pin, and most of the rest isn't labelled.

Sweet, have an excuse to crank the old 386 and 486 over the weekend

That's an excellent score.

Awesome!
Since you have so much here is an extra use of old 30 pin RAM I found.
I use extra 30 pin RAM as a keychain, why?
As the only person to do so I know at a glance which were my keys, their retro, and they have a hole for the securing tabs rather than a slot late more modern RAM making it easy to connect to the keys.

What can I say, we're old school

That picture doesn't really do it jutice, took me 2 hours to sort through it all and match the pairs. Picked up my old 486 from my parents tonight, has both 30 and 72 pin RAM slots, so going to go hard testing it all tomorrow instead of looking for a job (If you're reading this Sarah, I promise I'll look for a job the day after )
