Imperator 2012. Upgraded from an Imperator which I bought the week they were released in the US.
Fantastic, only issue is the new surface coating, which is better than the old sticky rubber style coating, is wearing off where my middle finger and back right of my palm rest after only a few months. Still, operates wonderfully.

The orig mamba lights up blue. The new one you can change the colour to what you want

Razer Naga epic on the main, regular Naga on the Missus', and Orochi for work laptop... if it wasn't for the unholy number of buttons on the naga/s for mmo loving, i'd still be using my trusty Logitech g9, best general function mouse i've ever used.

Amazing how an old piece of tech still feels so good in your hands. Fits perfectly. It also seems it was built a little better than the current G700/G500 rodents. I think I will be keeping this baby for some time to come. And I hate wireless mice to begin with.

Still got my original G5 (the orange/silver one), bought it new like 4-5 years ago I believe, and has been working wonderful ever since. Don't think I'll change unless this one dies.

I'm using a Razer mamba 2012 at the moment. Pretty good mouse. Not sure how long the battery lasts compared to their statements (on wireless) but its not too bad.
Had 1 issue where the firmware on the mouse got corrupted... luckily was able to fix it. I wouldn't say its the best mouse ever, but it aint too bad.

Been using a Logitech "M-RBW112" that came paired with my EX110 keyboard. (for some reason, they are not the proper matching pair, even though i bought them NIB from D!ck Smith...the mouse is actually the one from the LX710 combo)
Love it, absolutely love the way the forward/back buttons were positioned behind the scroll wheel and actually on the left/right, rather than in a forward/back position, or worse, along the side of the mouse. Unfortunately, it has started to randomly scroll uncontrollably...even when i'm not near it! So time for a new one me thinks.... I don't game, but am liking the Mionix Naos3200. Would love to team it with a Mionix Zibal 60, but seems no one has stock of the Zibal at the moment

I agree, however imo its worth upgrading to revolution- feels just the same but has no input lag and juice, but yea totally agree one of the most comfortable mice ive ever used shame it didn't come corded with mx518 driver.

Let's see. Was a Logitech person from day 1 of gaming all the way up to 2008. Then switched to the Razer Mamba in 09, than got a Razer Mamba 2012.
Logitech mouses are awful compared to the Mamba (esp the 2012 version). The wireless is amazingly accurate, the battery can last for quite some time (10+ hours non stop). The DPI buttons help alot for poorly coded games that have stupid low-sensitivity menu screens but super-high sensitivity aiming (even if you adjust the options it doesn't fix it.. eg. Bulletstorm). Best damn mouse I've ever used

Logitech mice are shit. I've had 2x G7's, both had buttons shit themselves under warranty, got replaced with a G9 then the warranty ran out, had to keep gluing pieces of paper under the buttons to put more force on the clicker until they finally shat themselves. I went through 3x $150RRP mice in 4 years, and I don't flog my mice either given they are so expensive. They were fantastic to deal with, so I give them an A for service and a big F to product quality.
Got a Razer Mamba, it's ok but I get the occasional wireless jitter. Gets a bit annoying but I can't stand cords so I put up with it. The Razer software is shit though. |

Optical > laser
wired > wireless I was a fan of the old MX518, and now days I like the true replacement, that is also optical, the G400. The G500 was a pos imo. |

In rebuttal, for no apparent reason because i can: dual laser > optical and laser :P
