I was thinking, one of the most stupid things of the razer mamba (2012) is that even if you plug the cable in and forget to switch the wirless mode off it still broadcasts the wireless. There should be a switch that does this automatically inside, not a physical switch.

Seriously take 2-3times longer to do a full charge if the wireless mode switch is on, even if its plugged directly in.

Also, anyone seen razers new FPS mouse, taimat or something? 8200 DPI (i think)... who the heck needs that, NASA's several hundred screen projector maybe?

I think we all have to keep in mind that everyone prefers different mice. What is good for one might not be great for another.

Still using my G5 2007 (blue one) edition, which I got when it first released. I didn't get the original G5 because I prefer having two side mouse buttons. I think I still have a MX518 somewhere in one of my drawers/cupboards which I had before this. Also have a spare G5 2007 for when this one breaks down. Managed to get it brand new for only $15 a few years ago

MX518 which I have had since about 2004/2005.

Just gave it a bit of a clean up and put a carbon fibre vinyl on it last week, looks much better

I have the blue G5 at work.. I don't like the feel much and the scroll wheel is deafening.

As much as I loved that rodent (the only real mouse ever made by Razer), I think the seller has been hitting the pipe on what he thinks someone will pay for it.......1 new from $1,259.00.

Ummm, what can we say. As much as I loved that mouse.....it looks like time to move on. To try and find another mouse that works beautifully without falling apart in your hands.

If you have big hands (don't we all? ;-) then checkout the M$ Sidewinder, I love mine, years old and still kicking.

Can't use most other mice as they are simply too small.

Ahhhh Craggles, you're a scholar and a gentleman.

I really do appreciate being offered your prized rodent, but I must respectfully decline your magnanimous offer.

Thanks......

Now using my third Razer Mamba (2012). The last one I decided was a little too thrashed & tired. Felt very worn down & the optical inside of it was becoming a little sketchy when playing FPS games.

Ahhhh love that feel of a new mouse/keyboard.
