Default HDD prices

Has anybody noticed that there has been an increase in price on most HDD's?

A few days ago i took a look for a 2tb F4 from PCCG and it was 89$, now there 119$ wtf! 1tb drives have gone from 59 to 69. :S

even Ebay users have jacked up the prices.

Yeah no kidding. I could have sworn there were 500 gig blues for $44, yet now $60 seems to be the going rate.

Yeah prices have gone up

I think there is a shortage of supplies in general for HDD due to the stuff in Thailand.

Just noticed the 2TB Hitachi 5k3000 went up +$3.00 @ msy.

I'm going to Thailand in December, am I just better off buying my HDD's there and bringing them back :?
