Nothing new, just some better angles and a illustration of my res to rad dilemma (and gpu to 120rad!).

Can you not flip the 120 so the in/out is at the bottom? You could then run a better length pipe down to a 90deg comp barb for the rad.

Where's your pump going? Oh in the res?

And optical drive?

Maybe you will need to run from the pump/res > 240 > gpu >120 > Cpu
Not sure how else you would be able to run the tube, and still have it look tidy...

Thought about it but i don't think it'll be as neat as what i've got planned.

As for an optical drive, i only use them when installing OS so i'll just plug an internal one in and run it on my desk for when i need it.

You can install your os from a thumb drive, but thats neither here nor there.

It is a shame that there is no way to avoid the last long tube from cpu to res. I always think that after all the work getting nice short lengths that the GIANT TUBE OF DOOM kinda screws with the look of it.

At least all you will have the gpu, a 45 and then the 120. maybe 2 to avoid tube bends and keep it straight, one at the gpu and one at the rad?

Go out and get a portable USB DVD drive, its cheap as chips, i bought a samsung laptop CD-rom for $27

I hate Optical drives and never use them anymore, but on odd occasions i have family members who want me to make them a music CD or burn a movie so they do come in handy.

Default Darn eVGA GTX 580 backplate!

Well my pretty cool res-rad connection idea fell through when my graphics card needed it instead.

Thats a G1/4" male-male extender, the only thing that would fit. Even a angle was to fat and scratched up against the eVGA backplate!

So now we have this wonder tight situation to take care of.

Bitspower make a mini version of that fitting, thats 1/3 the height of standard.

Should be just enough to clear that backplate.

Linkz in a tick

Also i ordered a metric buttload of red o-rings if your interested.

Should be able to do a 90 degree and you will have enough bend in the hose to make it.

imo your biggest concern is from the CPU block to the res, thats gonna be a long ugly piece of tubing.
