Anyhow, looking at Skyward sword on Wii looks horrendous after playing it on PC. Really does!
I just beat that myself yes that was a pain in the ass but thats the thing i love about zelda games, the satisfaction of finally figuring out what you have to do then hearing the winning sound haha..
The harp does suck though.

The Wii will be dragged out for this. I don't like the idea of missing a major release of a Zelda game. Need to get a new censor bar (wireless one) since the cats chewed through the cord of original one.

some spoilers

Spoiler below, highlight to read:
Just finished then, love the storylines in these games really liked this one because it gave a sort of order to at least two of the games in that the master sword, impa, and even demise's reincarnation, which made it all seem a bit different to any other Zelda title.

Hero mode should be fun, but ill leave that till the next title is announced properly for Wii U, should tide me over till then

Finally got a chance to sit down and start playing this last night, though only for 2 hours. Sadly they haven't fixed the whole "you must go through craploads of conversations and finding someone who's not marked on a map in the early parts of the game" crap.
But the soundtrack is absolutely fantastic.

Edit: this is why we love Zelda games:

Seems easier than TP...progressing quite quickly - would be even faster if you could end the conversation at a button press... -0.5 point for not being able to do that.. & -1 for having to quite frequently recalibrate the motion plus - pretty annoying.

I'm still waiting on my order of a limited edition copy to turn up, and I don't even own a Wii... I'm contemplating just configuring up Dolphin and playing this on HD, does anyone know if this is possible with a legitimate version of the game?

Sure is. The Wiimote isn't 100% yet though, they need to tweak it more.

MWAVE have the game on special for $60 at the moment. I don't care so much for the LE wiimote, but is $60 possibly the most unbeatable price at present?

Sorry for the old thread revival... just working my way through this now. Has anybody else had trouble with the motion plus control during swordfights? I can't seem to get Link to hold the sword in the same angle that I'm holding the controller, making some fight that require you to hit enemies from a particular angle nigh-on-impossible.

i.e. those stupid piggy things holding swords at various angles to block. I can NEVER get the sword at the right angle to make a left-to-right backhand slash. Fighting Girahim was next to impossible because of this, and ESPECIALLY those stupid enemies where you lose hearts for incorrect hits (e.g. piggies with electric swords)

Is this controller lag or something else, and is there anything I can do about it?

EDIT: Ugh. Last boss fight (Demise). Frustrating as hell...

Been playing, gameplay is enjoyable, but with the flow of the cinematics, it's very highly disappointing that there's no voice acting apart from grunts and 'HEY!' from all the characters...

Nintendo have said for quite some time now that they wanted Link to remain voiceless.

I personally think it adds to the charm of the game. I'm only just getting around to playing Metroid: Other M, and hearing Samus for the first time is grating. I wish they'd kept her voiceless too.
