I think that there is a pretty darn good wPrime time right?

I'm going for 4.8 to 5.0. I've got her on a Corsair H100 with Push Pull setup, so far everything seems good at 4.4 which is nice to see, it's a strange new world overclocking on the UEFI BIOS.

My setup is this.

3930K w/ Corsair H100
p9x79 Deluxe
16Gb Corsair Dominator DDR3 1600 8-8-8-24
Kingston Hyper X SATAIII SSD
Corsair AX850 PSU
6990 + 6970 TRIFIRE

I think that covers all the important things. I'll do all the other benchmarks later, right now I'm off to try BF3 with the new setup.
That's a shitload of volts for 4.4GHz! My old 990X did it with less vcore.

Yeah, I just plugged in 1.4v and 44x Multi and booted her up, that's the extent of the overclock...

I'm going to fine tune it a lot more, but it's a lot easier to find the right balance points with these BIOS's and CPU's.

My new 4.7 wPrime score... wholly smokes the difference between 4.4 and 4.7 is OOGE!!!

Seems to be good and stable at 4.7 as well, I am hoping it's going to crack 5

I'm going to shove 5 in there now and see how she goes

This seems to be the most stable / reliable OC I can push out of her.

I got into Windows at 4.9 but it's not stable at all, I've been slowly trying to creep up from 4.7 again with a lot more settings tuned, and I'm up to the 48x multiplier now... honestly, if it only reaches 4.8Ghz (or there abouts) then I'm going to be over the moon ecstatic... I mean I would have loved to get 5.0Ghz but I mean, 4.8 is still pretty darn close, and it's so damn smoking fast at these clocks it's not funny.

It's also not running that hot even though I'm shoving 1.5v in her. I think I have a pretty darn good processor

I wouldn't be running 1.5v 24/7 on a 32nm cpu... you'll find out why the hard way

Yeah, I've brought it back now for 24/7. That was just a clock for seeing whether I could reach 5.0Ghz with her.

It's running at 4.5 Ghz at 1.375v 24/7 now and it gives great performance. I got about a 25 - 35 fps improvement in BF3, which is all I care about.

Before, I was getting 45 - 60 fps, now it doesn't dip below 60 fps at all anymore, it's incredible. BF3 at 2560x1440 with all settings at Ultra is just incredible.

I've got a screenshot here as an example of how it looks, all running at 60fps

I seen an article showing 5fps difference between 3.4ghz and 4.4ghz on Bf3 it's all gpu.. Try a 64 player caspian border round and report back. Some maps on bf3 sp run alot better then others too.
