Here's the results some of you were asking.

After 2 hours Prime 95 here are the temps of the cores with all the details shown.

It's at 4.5Ghz 1.4v in BIOS but it fluctuates up a little bit because of load line calibration and various other settings etc.

I for one have to say these chips dont look good at all 4.5 at 1.4v and not much more improvement over Z68/2600k, all 2600k's i have had do 4.6 daily at 1.280

What program are you using to give those summaries?

Those temps seem quite high for that voltage though, but I guess there are 6 cores.

I think most need more juice than that, yours was a good one.

Incidentally my two best clockers both needed more than that too. My best one for 24/7 had the worst max clock, so go figure.

What more can i expect ? 1.4V is over a 24/7 safe voltage thats what,

My 990X did 4.4 at 1.375, So maybe these will do 4.4 with safe 24/7V

But even still a 2600k still beats it in most instances

How do you know its not safe? Do you run a 2011 setup? Fact of the matter is these are so new no one knows for sure what daily safe Vcore is.

2600K also has less cores, and less cache. Shouldn't have to tell you how that can affect OC performance.
