Is it bad that I think of this every time I see this thread?

I actually started doing this a few weeks ago. Albiet with an existing dinning table.

Funny that I'd never seen any pc's built in a table until I commenced the construction of my own, lol... Now there's heaps popping up all over the place!

Table is looking awesome man. Keep up the good work and keep coming with the updates

I've seen the idea going around for years. Not exactly mainstream, but in no way new.

Default IM BACK

Wow, sorry guys, havent been on ocau for a while, here with an update (finally).

I made the rookie mistake of overestimating my free time at my first year of uni, so not a whole lot has been happening with the desk, but more to come in 3 weeks time when im on holidays for a fair while.

as for those who wanted this desk "unmolested " your probably going to hate me for this, but it is themed. The theme is for resident evil 6 coming out this year, and hopefully it wont be too tacky, im not going all overboard with the themeing, but it will be recognisable

Here are the T virus and antidote reservoirs FrozenQ so kindly sent me, and they look pretty damn sweet.

The coloured middle looks warped in this shot, its actually the outer tube bending the light

And here is the trio of dell ultrasharps that will be the monitors on the desk, they are 23" models, and run very nicely in portrait Surround

What is that empty rectangle area in the baseplate?
The MDF is 18mm thick, this gives it maximum strength as well as making it more solid

Wheree are the rads going?

Also what is the thickness of the desk on the left and side where you cut a hole.
The rads sit at the back of the desk, in a rad and fan sandwich.
All the mdf is 18mm thick
