And how many Mini-DP monitors are there in homes? vs DVI/HDMI/DP?

I'm confused, a coupling for what? My 670's have DP outputs, surely you only need a DP > mini DP adapter?

The monitor has a fixed mini DP cable, so it would need a female to female adapter then another cable to convert the mini DP to normal displayport lol.

Im used to ATI has my 6990 had 4 mini DP connections and my 6850 has 2.

it makes me wonder if that monitor doesn't have other connectors.

anyways, i bought GT 620 for my HTPC and for some reason I keep losing the image (keeps going blank then the image comes back then blank again). i don't know if it's an HDCP thing between the HTPC and the receiver but now i am back to using the GTX 450 + 289.xx drivers. i have tried the GTS 450 with the 301.42 drivers and the same thing occurs so there's a break between driver versions.

I'm haven't been subscribed to this thread so don't know if it's been mentioned.

But...

Amazon have a Zotac GTX680 listed for $499.99 and it comes with 3 assassin's creed games (1, 2, Revelations).
From reading the Zotac website it seems that they honour warranties for Australia and have a rma centre in here.

http://www.amazon.com/ZT-60101-10P-G...491305&sr=1-10

Come to AUD 519.75 including shipping.

The card is probably no good for you fellas who run SLI but I'm only running single for now and the dual fan cooler is apparently better than the reference for single application.
Can you let us know how it goes for cooling/noise and possibly what type of cooler (plain heatsink or heatpipe/vapour chamber)?

I'm looking at pulling the trigger on this card. Been waiting yonks for the Gigabyte Windforcce 680 to be able to ship from Amazon, but still restricted to the USA (and Gigabyte isn't very cross-shore friendly when it comes to warranty).

I'm looking for a card that won't downclock at full load, ie. keep the temps under 70 degrees full load, possibly overclocked, and have a fairly quiet cooling system.

Windforce does that well on the 670 Chip and the cooler and PCB is from the 680 model so I wouldn't imagine it going over 70deg, sucks about USA only.

That SC 2 model looks good for the price you would think with 2 fans like the MSI & Asus models it should cool well. (maybe)

From recent experience I can guarantee Zotac do not have any sort of international warranty at all and will flat out refuse to honour any RMA request even if you send it back to the country of purchase. RMA through the retailer is your only option when importing Zotac products.

I'd say this line removes any obligation of Zotac to warrant international purchases.

Will do mate, the card shipped yesterday so hopefully I have it by next weekend.

I have a Obsidian 650D so air flow is pretty decent in my case, I'm actually hoping load temps don't go much over 60 in this weather, summer will be a good test though.

Some google-fu before purchase told me that this cooler is roughly -10c better than the reference, pretty bold claim, I hope its close to true hehe.

I first ordered this knowing full well warranty will be a mission however by chance I found an EVGA model shipping to Aus so I changed my order, was only $20 more for peace of mind
