Default Disabling memeory remapping?

Hey there, a quick one:

I recently installed another 2Gb of RAM on my PC (now have 4Gb) but to get Windows 7 to recognize it I had to enable 'memory remapping' in my BIOS (It only recognized 3Gb before I did this). Now that I've done it and things are working fine, should I disable it again? Has my memory been 'remapped' with no need to keep that feature on anymore? Will it make a difference either way?

Thanks!

Easy answer: No. Keep it on if you want the 4GB.
