I did not want to step on anyone's shoes by creating this thread.....but it seems those that are the apostles of hwbot are not pleased.

Only reason I did is that we want regular updates for our OCAU submissions.

And also time spy just came out and members want a thread to Submit scores in.

Why we are even mentioning hwbot here puzzles me.......

The original 3DMark thread did not update since December 2015. And nothing agains that op (as I do not personally know him so how can I) but members were asking why no updates and I thought I would fill the void.

Obviously no personal gain for me, but I am more than happy to be the keeper as I have spare time at work to maintain the thread (fortunately my job role is one of those "do not do much but be there in case shit actually happens" roles).

People frankly should not have to wait that long for their score to go on the leaderboard.

Everyone knows the serious benching is done on hwbot. Points are there and it helps the au team against the rest of the world, and that is cool.

But nothing is wrong with having a thread here for the purposes of OCAU members that want an internal ranking? Correct me if I am wrong?

I will continue this thread and give my time to regularly update it...if it comes to that.

If members decide to go back to the original thread, that is perfectly fine as well.

I leave it up to the people.

    Peace.

I'm not seeing anywhere where people are displeased about having a thread that is actually updated on a semi-regular basis, more so on the criteria than anything.

Either way I'm ok with it but I would prefer HWBOT rules just because it's a clear cut set of rules that people can follow (also means if I do a HWBOT sub then I can also sub here as well :D )

Also not sure if you missed my subs last page :)

It's no biggy Adam. I'm sure we all appreciate you stepping in for the excitement. There has been a lot going on the past month or 2 in the GPU world.

I only mentioned the HWBot rules because it's been well thought out and tested for competition. It's OCAU though and feel free to set it to suit what we do here. I will continue to always bench to HWBot so I don't have to run multiple times. I don't do as much 3D as I used to anyway.

The above and trying to help the AMD users get better scores too. The GPU's aren't as bad as these threads make them out to be. Having a tweak to help them level up isn't a bad thing for envhoragement.

continue on, it's supposed to be about having fun, not fighting about rules for something that's not competition.

This one is as good as it gets for me! A little bit closer to Scum - have to wait till I get the second card in tomorrow. :)

I managed to get the GTX1080 to run @ 2200 with massively underclocked mem on the GPU but of course it was much slower.

The cards are right on the edge of stability at 2100Mhz with 1.039V to 1.094V and mem @ 5500 (11Ghz) It's a fine art of balancing the power budget until we get more control over voltage to push to 1.1 or 1.2 volts.
Incidently I tried the Asus Strix OC bios in my card which reportedly goes to 1.4v but I had no luck with it - it was actually slower than my MSI bios and I couldn't get it to run over 1.094v anyway. - So the factory MSI bios is back in the card for this run... my card runs at 30c with my insane outdoor cooling system :D

You can replace my other score with this one.

Nice work on the physics improvement. What timings are you running for memory? Your physics is killing my similar clocked 4930k.

PS. the 4960x has more 1st level cache too which probably does more to help than the Memory.

Interesting. It must love frequency. I did some testing on 2666c9 reasonably tight and got to about 7100 at 4625mhz but couldn't get 4750 to stick.

Might loosen and try raw speed.

yeah, i was having driver crashes at a certain point in timespy, so was trying a few diff combo's of gpu/cpu clocks, just left it for the firestrike run

these were older drivers, i have the new ones sitting there just need to install them and have another crack

Note: My copy of 3DMark and my Futuremark account, refuse to be linked. I have a ticket going in to Futuremark asking them to fix this crap.

    7568 - 1 x EVGA GTX 1080FE @ 2202/5450 - i7 6700K @ 4.5ghz - 16GB G.Skill TridentZ x 16GB @ 3000mhz - Asrock Z170 Gaming Professional i7 - Water (CPU and GPU)

That gives me the highest Graphics score for a single card so far I think (8031), but not for long I dare say.

Good old EVGA FE under water running 2202mhz and still got more in the tank. :)

Got the second GTX 1080 in.
Hold their boost @ 2100 all day every day.. ;)

Running @ 4.4Ghz on the 4960X CPU and 2100Mhz/5544(11Ghz) on the SLI MSI GTX 1080 Sea Hawk EK X 8GB.

I'll do another back at 4.8Ghz on the CPU.
